Hello,

Before I post I just wanted to say I have not posted in a forum in over 10 years. Please be patient with me.
I have a lacie 5 big nas pro that recently will not mount the drive (I cannot access the web manager also).
It shows up on my network, I am able to ping and receive. When I enter the lacie link to go to the web manager It brings up the rescue key screen instead.
The light indicators all are blu and seem normal.

I guess my question is:

Can I put in a new HD reformat the NAS then stick the old HD I have with data on it back in? I am obv. very afraid to lose the data on the initial HD.

I only have 1 HD that as of right now I cannot access , it was in bay 1.

Also if the above fix or any fix is not possible can anyone recommend other options, as of right now Im thinking of biting the bullet and paying seagate for the revery of said drive.

Thank You

Personally I would connect the disk to a Linux system to see why it doesn't mount. But I don't know if that is the best approach for you.
