I've had my cloud NAS for a few years now. In this past year it started dropping off line periodically. When I would find it off line, of course I would simply press the button on the rear and get it off, then press it again to restart the unit. This seemed a kinder way to solve the problem than just jerking the power.

In the past months it's gotten worse, and the data light is blinking all the time. Data output is compromised as some times video data is corrupted momentarily by the internal activity. I have forgotten my login and password. I have http://networkaddress and get the login screen, if I attempt to log in it will then allow me to see the help screen, and I can also see the folders. However what I really want to do is a fsck or something to check the integrity of the storage. Or see what function is running.

I am Unix capable as I run Solaris servers, but my linux background is old... I stopped using it years ago. Is there a back door login and password, or some way to get logged in so I can run some tests to see what is running?
