Hi all,

Since 2 days I have fired up my old HMNHD CE after it went to dust 3 years ago.

My question is: Is it possible to install SVN server on the NAS and use a share folder as a the SVN folder?

I have enabled SSH and have root acces. And i have a little bit of linux experience.

Yes, I think so. The easiest way is to install Entware-ng, and then execute
Code:
opkg install subversion-server
Then configure svnserve the way you like it.

Thanks for the quick answer. I have one question though: what does this package contain? Will it only install svnserve or also apache http server?

Entware-ng is based on OpenWRT, which is a router distro. Routers generally have very little storage and ram (4MiB flash and 32MiB ram are not an exception) so the packages only contain what they really have to contain.

subversion-server will not pull apache. If you want apache, you'll have to install that separately. (It is available, together with 1800 other packages)

I've been trying to install Entware-ng but when I run ./entware-ng-starter.sh install I get the message:
"Sorry, no support for architecture armv6l"
