Hello,
I want to root my CloudBox, but I cannot open the case. I've searched on Internet but I have found nothing.
Anybody can show me how to open the case for remove the disk ?
Thank you

Samuel

No need to open the case for rooting. Just follow this tutorial

But this way to root without disassembling is not valid for Cloudbox (http://lacie.nas-central.org/wiki/Category:CloudBox). It works fine for 2 Big Network 2 (http://lacie.nas-central.org/wiki/Category:2big_Network_2).

I tried this method in my Cloudbox and it was impossible to create symlinks.

I have successfully root my LaCie CloudBox by this way. The symlinks work by connecting via SFTP instead of FTP.
I did I recently with the last update.
