White blinking means the Linux system inside is not starting up. You can try

1. holding the reset button for 15 sec then release it to see if the system comes back.

2. If 1 fails, you can try taking the drive out and attach it to a Linux system (such as Ubuntu) to access the file directly.

Hi thanks a lot for your reply.

Unfortunately, 1st option didn't work. So I need too try the 2nd option.
I will really appreciate if you can help me with a guideline to perform the recovery. I'm not quite familiar with Linux.

Also Would I recover my NAS as it was at the beginning?

Thanks

You need to install a Linux system, or boot and run a Linux system from CD. Google for such free CD Images file.
In worst case, the hard drive is dead. This happened to me once. I have to send it back for warranty for a replacement.
