Hi everyone!!, First of all sorry for my english, I'm from Uruguay.

I have a Iomega EZ Media & Backup Center 1TB with a formated disk. To install the firmware I try:

1) follow de steps on with no luck.

2) I have an clonezilla Image of another EZ Media & Backup Center 1TB. Using this image neither work (formus said that, but I try)

3) Using the clonezilla image and write de initrd and zImage neither work

The nas never read the pendrive. So reading de init script ( i see that when the nas detect a usb device the power led must blink two times or power on in white color. This never hapends...

I power on and after 4 - 10 second the power led change to red and stay there do what I do... So I'm thinking could be a hardware problem

First of all I would like to test the hardware. How can I do it???

The part of the script I mention is:
# if reset button is pressed do usb imaging if no usb do network imaging
# else if reset button is not pressed then look for valid image in harddrive and
# if not do usb imaging and if no usb drive do network imaging

if [ -f $RESET_BUTTON_FILE ] || [ $USB_RECOVERY_MODE == "0" ]
   # reset button was pressed

echo "Checking if there is an attached EMC Imager"
   sleep 10

   mkdir -p /usb_drive
   mount $USB_DEVICE /usb_drive -t vfat -o async,rw,fmask=0000,dmask=0000,iocharset=utf8
   if [ $mount_ret -eq 0 ]
      # Flash the system status LED to indicate USB imaging.
      echo 2 > /sys/class/nasled/pwr_white_led
   if [ "$scriptret" -eq "0" ]

Thanks everyone!!
