I have easily configured access from Internet ( UPnP config) to web, ftp, webdav and ssh to I can have access to those resources when outside LAN by means of password.

Now, when I have configured Townky I have realised virtually ANYONE may have access to the Twonky webpage servername:port/webbrowse As no password is required - contrary to ftp, webdav or ssh.

So, is there anyone only authorised users may have access to multimedia files? Because in Control Panel > Services > Media Server, there is no option to password-protect access to Twonky.

Thank you in advance for your attention.

Maybe this trick will work for you. That won't survive a reboot, but a startscript shouldn't be too complex.

I think the proxy functionality is enough. The web interface already want you to login.
