RAID5 fail on px4-300d

Post by porkosta » Wed Oct 29, 2014 9:42 pm

Hi, new to the forum so hoping I am posting in the correct area.

I am trying to recover data from a raid5 setup for a friend of mine.
A few background details. The NAS is a PX4-300D and the HDD in bay 4 failed. He replaced the drive and the message come up saying the data reconstruction was in progress. Once this completed the NAS displayed 0KB free and 0KB used.
Using the Diagnostics page we ran the option to recover the storage pool but now the NAS displays 5.4TB free and 0KB used.

Does anyone have any ideas that could help me recover the data?

I guess for recovering data, you should contact Lenovo support.

Just red an article about replacing disks in specific order, to determine the defect disk,|
but can't find the link back, even not from history :(
Regards, DG.
