Hello,
does anyone have the usb recovery files and procedure for the pc4-300d
i have one box that is proving hard to "format", a factory reset w/quick erase gets stuck in 0% forever, reset button on the back is not deleting the data it says it does(only resets ip address, the rest remained) so i just wiped both HDDs externally, now it's stuck on 95% and honestly i don't have time to go through the hoops of iomega support to get the recovery file (in fact i don't even think i'm on warranty)

tried it from another thread, but the procedures posted do nothing on this px4, presing reset whilst powering on leaves the "lenovo emc" logo stuck, no activity.
and booting normally does nothing either.

in any case, i managed to recover this unit by booting it with no drives and no network attached, then attaching the 1st hdd when it asked for drives(it said setting up drives), then i plugged the 2nd drive. That got the GUI up with old configuration, then i was able to do a proper factory reset with quick erase.

OP, did you have any luck with your px4? I have a px6 with the exact issue!

USB startup does not work. I can SSH in with root, is there a way to image with USB using SSH? Consider me a complete beginner in regards to Linux and SSH. I may start another thread specific to my SSH question if I cannot source any more new information.

Thanks.
