NAS Clevin Q700 ΝΟ ΒΟΟΤ

Post by dimitrisgr » Mon Aug 15, 2016 9:12 am

I want to ask because I have a serious problem. Yesterday I tried to upgrade the firmware to the latest version of the web interface. While the normally loaded when you started the upgrade process stopped after a while with the message if I remember correctly (update error) .The nas after that was working normally but he was locked as no work then him. When the re-opened today, will not start, the power led blinks in red and green continuously.

Children a help if anyone knows anything about because I have many files in and do not want to lose them.

I can not find any significant information about that box. The firmware file as supplied by Fujitsu doesn't contain anything recognizable, so I think it's encrypted. Further I can only find a hint that it might contain a Gemini chip, but seeing the price that would be horrible.

So it's a bit hard to help. But probably the box runs Linux, as 99% of all consumer NASes do, and in that case you can take out the disks, and connect them to any other Linux system to read your data. When the disks are in a raid array, you'll need to connect both.

BTW, if the data is important to you, you should have a backup.
