Post by Amilo » Mon Feb 01, 2016 5:37 pm

Hi all,

I have a problem with running couchpotato on mine NAS540
Burbulence helped me a lot but it is still not running. He thinks its an issue with permissions.

Can you post the output of

Code: Select all

df -h
and

Code: Select all

cat /proc/partitions
they will help track down the problems, also note that couch is starting with the following arguments

Code: Select all

/usr/bin/env python2 /ffp/bin/couchpotato/CouchPotato.py --daemon --data_dir /i-data/md0/admin/configuration/couchpotato --config /i-data/md0/admin/configuration/couchpotato/settings.conf --pid_file /i-data/md0/admin/configuration/couchpotato/couchpotato.pid

Not sure, if this is a cause but --data_dir /i-data/md0/admin, is the path on a NSA series NAS, the NAS series doesn't use md0, md1, etc. in its path to point to (a) mounted HDDs.
Please, change the path in the scripts to /i-data/sysvol/admin, which will store it on the first HDD (system volume) of the NAS.

Code: Select all

/usr/bin/env python2 /ffp/bin/couchpotato/CouchPotato.py --daemon --data_dir /i-data/sysvol/admin/configuration/couchpotato --config /i-data/sysvol/admin/configuration/couchpotato/settings.conf --pid_file /i-data/sysvol/admin/configuration/couchpotato/couchpotato.pid
BTW, I have both SickBeard, CouchPotato running with Entware-ng using a modified v0.98 installation script by Burbulence.

thanks Ariek,

after I copied you're link is putty it worked for a couple hours.
And after I was loaded the movies that I had downloaded already couchpotato crashed, and it wont run again.
I did a restart of the NAS bud that didn't work..

With everything I do I get wget:can't laod library 'libgnutls.so.28'

Any tips?

I am also very curios how you did is with Entware-ng? do you have a how to?

Thanks in advance.

Is the start script set to executable?

Copy/paste of the advice of Mijzelf gave me:
You can execute

Code: Select all

sh -x /ffp/start/<yourscript> start
to find out what it's doing, and how it comes to 'failed'.
