Can you upload full log somewhere:

Code: Select all

/mnt/HD_a2/programs/plex/lib/Plex\ Media\ Server/Logs/Plex Media Server.log

Alright, here comes the big noobie-question: Where do I find this directory? The only folders I have available on my NAS are admin, General-XXXXXX, music, photo and video and none of those contain anything noteworthy.

Here's a link to my log file. Looks like it is unable to download the files needed? If I download it for the NAS, do I just place them in the FAT partition?

logfile

EDIT: It wasn't working because I had my Ethernet cable in the wrong LAN port -- such a dumb mistake. Currently it is installing PLEX! I'll keep you updated. Thank you for all of the help!

How to Report an Issue and enable debug logging:
https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articl ... dia-Server
Connect via ssh, then copy to public (it can be video, music, or photo as well) directory:

Code: Select all

mkdir /mnt/HD_a2/public/plexlogs
find /mnt/HD_a2/programs/plex/lib/Plex\ Media\ Server/Logs/ -type f ! -iname "*[0-9].log" ! -iname "*.log.[0-9]" -exec cp -a {} /mnt/HD_a2/public/plexlogs \;
Which plex version btw?

This is my log file: http://pastebin.com/2tT0WtTG

I was running the version that comes with the FFP stick.. 0.9 something. But since that wasn't working I updated plex to 1.2.6.2975. I'm experiencing the same issue on both versions.

Well, for me it seems like PMS bug related with on the fly scanner. You can do a little test:
Disable "Update my library automatically" setting in your PMS/Library.
Restart box and check again if the problem persists.
Searching at plex forum, I noticed this problem is common in ARMV7 based boards. Future release 1.3.0 (qnap beta testing was successfull) is going to solve this problem. Unfortunately there is no Synology spk beta package available like qnap has:

That's very unfortunate.. Disabling "Update my library automatically" did not work.

Aren't they usually pretty fast with their bug-fixing, though?
